FroYo Tasty Treats Comes to Ladue

One of the Best Low Fat Deals in Town Hits our town.

Looking for something cool and tasty that’s without fat?

Look no further.  FroYo is new in town and is already creating a stir.  With large variety of flavors and toppings to choose from, you can customize your refreshing indulgence.

According to www.froyoyogurt.com, frozen yogurt is “non fat, low calorie, high in calcium and protein, has the health benefits of yogurt with live and active probiatic cultures, bosts immunity, helps digestion, lowers cholesterol, and is a healthy alternative to traditional fat and sugared ice cream.”

FroYo has set up shop in the Village at Schneithorst, a companion to its already thriving store in Creve Coeur.

To find out what the most popular flavors are, I asked the owner, Yen.  She said, “For the healthy-conscious, the original tart is the most popular, topped with all-fresh fruits.  It is also our bestselling flavor.  Kids are a fan of chocolate, red velvet and cake batter, with gummy bears, brownies and cookie dough to top it off.”

Sure, these last few don’t sound very healthy, but what’s wrong with satisfying a sweet tooth?

Yen says the combination that is her personal favorite is original tart topped with strawberries and blueberries.  She also likes mochi—a Japanese tart.

After finishing the interview, I helped myself to the flavors peanut butter, cake batter and dulce de leche, and topped it off with strawberries, hot fudge, caramel, and cherries.  Maybe not the healthiest combination, but it sure was delicious.
