Myra: Nice to meet you at the UCity/Olivette Joint Council for the Olive/I-170 Suburban Renewal. While rejuvenation is a good thing...I still can not agree or support plans of "blighting" and buying out single family residents. Our home values have depreciated...taxes increased, now a plan to blight and buy out area families. The plan does not even specify neighborhoods to be raised...a detail for later? While the Boards are congratulating themselves for being so progressive...single family residents will be bearing the blunt end of this master plan. Thanks again for this wonderful local media outlet.

Myra, Detail update on the University City Memorial Day Run results----two locally trained University City High graduates won the two competetive races today- David Lambus(2011) won the 5k and Tom Kenyon (2009)won the 10k. Both are products of the fantastic program offered by James Crow and the University City Running Project. Summer training opportunities exist for all ages in this coed training group.
