Shaw Park-Olive Boulevard Trail Construction to Begin Soon

The Delmar Boulevard Bridge over I-170 will once again open to motorists next week, according to a news release from the Missouri Department of Transportation. It means drivers on Delmar Blvd will once again be able to cross over I-170. MoDOT crews have been working since May to complete construction on a new bridge, after it was deemed unsafe for public travel in late April. The new bridge will open to traffic sometime on Tuesday, August 16. MoDOT will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony on the bridge at 9 a.m. that morning. The public is invited to the ceremony. The bridge is set to open to traffic later that day. The $2.1 million bridge project was …
