Is this holiday all about candy hearts or something more?

For children, Valentine's Day is often about cards, candy and parties. So onto this week's question: Suppose your kids are a variety of ages—4, 6 and 8. A Valentines Celebration Finally In This Household

Unimaginable savings with three dresses on sale.

It all started out innocently enough with the arrival of an email from the Missouri Botanical Gardens in my inbox. Seems that each year the garden hosts a swinging Valentine’s Day party in the Ridgeway Center, including a gourmet meal, a lively band, tours of the beautiful flower arrangements and a champagne toast for good measure. It all sounded so good. I was starving. The sales pitch was crafted so it had me hook, line and sinker. Sure, I would post it right away on my calendar of events, and I circulated it to the other 23 Patch editors in the area to …

All I Want for Valentine's Day Is...

Five people at Plaza Frontenac share their thoughts on the perfect Valentine's Day gifts and experiences.

Most of the people Ladue-Frontenac Patch spoke with at Plaza Frontenac said they prefer original gifts or even experiences such as a weekend in wine country instead of gifts. However, while getting to spend some quality time with the person you love is great, the consensus was that something along the lines of a little "bling bling" or a dozen roses would be a perfect added bonus to a fantastic Valentine's Day.
