The following information was provided by the Ladue Police Department. May 8: At 5:12 a.m., a 31-year-old man was arrested on outstanding traffic charges during a traffic stop at Interstate 170 and Brentwood Boulevard. Ladue Police said the men broke into homes while the owners were in their houses, and stole laptop computers.
A University City man is accused of burglarizing two houses in Ladue while the residents were in their homes. Marquis D. Baker, 18, of the 8000 block of Appleton Drive in University City, was charged with two counts each of first-degree burglary and felony theft. In the Ladue burglaries Baker acted with Kyren Chunn, 17, according to a court document. Ladue Police said Baker and Chunn entered a home May 30 in the first block of Ricardo Lane and stole a Mac Book laptop. Police said the two and entered a home March 21, 2012 in the first block of Westerly Lane and stole two Mac Book laptops. A housekeeper is accused of stealing jewelry from a Ladue woman. Erica Crenshaw, 42, of the 8400 block of Buckthorn Drive in Berkeley, was charged Jan. 24 with felony theft. Ladue Police said the homeowner noticed numerous pieces of jewelry missing last fall from her home on Maryview Lane. Two days after the woman asked Crenshaw if she knew anything about the missing jewelry, a charm bracelet that had been reported stolen was anonymously returned to the residence. Four charms still were missing from the bracelet. Crenshaw was arrested and confessed to stealing jewelry between Oct. 19 and Nov. 1, including charms from the bracelet and a monkey-shaped pendant valued at about $3,000. Ladue police report finding evidence of an attempted burglary after an alarm sounds, plus a man is taken into custody for allegedly interfering with the arrest of a woman wanted on warrants.
The following information was supplied by the Ladue Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. Feb. 20: At 11:56 a.m., police responded to an attempted burglary that set off an alarm in the 1100 Block Ridgelynn Drive. An officer discovered damage to the rear door, but no entry was gained. Feb. 23: At 12:55 a.m., police arrested a 22-year-old woman on misdemeanor and felony fugitive warrants in the 10000 Block of Fieldcrest Lane. Authorities said a 61-year-old man was also arrested for interfering in the arrest of the female.

Ladue police report in one case the suspected shoplifter fled, but was later found and arrested.

Feb. 11: At 3:21 p.m., police responded to the 8800 Block Ladue Road for a report of bad checks. Feb. 13: At 4:12 p.m., police were called to 8867 Ladue Road for a report of stealing. The report was made some time after the alleged crime occurred, but someone reportedly stole a motorized cart from Schnucks. Feb. 14: At 4:30 p.m., a 20-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting from the Old Navy in the 8800 block of Ladue Road. Kirkwood Police said two men stole NFC championship and Big 12 championship rings among other items from the home.
Two men allegedly stole more than $28,000 in electronics and jewelry, including NFC championship ring and Big 12 championship rings, on Dec. 31 from the Kirkwood home of Rob Boras, the St. Louis Rams tight ends coach. James Bright, of the 6200 block of Sunshine Drive in High Ridge, and Jeffrey Medcalf, of the 1100 block of Briarhurst in West County, were charged Friday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing more than $25,000, a class B felony. A Crestwood woman faces additional charges in Ladue that she sold jewelry and silverware stolen by her boyfriend, Justin Roux, who formerly worked for a landscaping company. Roux also faces theft charges in Ladue. The stolen items in the charges were valued at $103,106. Tracy Rockwell, 22, of the 9100 block of Grant Farm Trail in Crestwood, was charged with five counts of receiving stolen property. Ladue Police said she sold the following stolen property: Police said she knew the items were stolen. They also face charges in Glendale Crestwood and Creve Coeur. A woman, who worked as a maid’s assistant, faces a criminal charge for stealing jewelry from a Ladue home. Kahlie Korte, 24, of Silex, was charged Friday in St. Charles County Circuit Court with felony stealing. Ladue Police said a woman discovered jewelry missing April 5 from her home in the first block of Clermont Lane. The missing items were a set of diamond earrings and a gold and diamond bracelet valued collectively at $19,340. Earlier that day, her house was cleaned by a regular housekeeping service. Korte on several occasions had worked as a maid’s assistant with a regular housekeeper, police said. A man faces criminal charges after police said he cut himself on a broken window during a burglary in Frontenac. The man also faces charges related to selling property stolen from a Town and Country home. Jeffrey Schwartz, of the 1200 block of Still House Creek Road in Chesterfield, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary and receiving stolen property. Frontenac Police said Schwartz broke a window in a home in the first block of Portland Avenue and climbed in the house. He fled before stealing anything, but cut himself on the broken window, leaving blood behind, according to a Frontenac Police report. Police said he was identified by a DNA match.
