MICDS Out-Duels Burroughs in the Pool, 101-69
Both Rams and Bombers tune up for state and look for a little rest.
The MICDS and John Burroughs swim meet is always a good one. This year, the Rams had more depth and won over the visiting Bombers, 101-69. This could be viewed as a tune up to the state meet February 15-16 at the Rec Plex in St. Peters. While neither team will be challenging for a state title in two weeks, both would like to have a good showing, especially with their strong point-rich relay teams. Kristen Kaiser, Rams coach said her girls had a good swim. “Yea, we had some decent swims. We are very tired. Our conference meet was last week and so my non-state kids are really tired because they’ve been tapered and brought back up.
