The shopping center's anchor stores, Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue, both opened their doors to fashion fans for good causes.
On Thursday night, people from across the St. Louis area gathered at Plaza Frontenac to celebrate Fashion's Night Out, an annual event that celebrates fashion and charity. "It's a way for businesses that are fashion-forward to donate to really good causes," said Alexis Weinstein, an attendee. Stores across the country (and the world) held special events, with proceeds going to charities of their choosing. At Saks Fifth Avenue, donations were made to the Humane Society of Missouri. Across the shopping center at Neiman Marcus, money was raised for Gateway to Hope. "We're very pleased to partner with Saks in helping to promote their wonderful store and their willingness to help raise money and support for the animals we care for," said Kathy …

My Friends and I Got to Model a Variety of Outfits for Patch's Spring Fashion Feature.
The crazy, constantly changing, and unpredictable St. Louis weather has finally brought us warm weather that is here to stay. Lucky for fashion lovers, with the recent change of season comes all the new spring styles that have taken over local clothing stores. For someone that has to wear the same school uniform to school every day, I love being able to wear my cutest outfits to work and on the weekends. That is why I jumped at the opportunity to get the inside scoop on the newest spring fashions and be involved with the Ladue-Frontenac Patch spring photo shoot. When arriving at Frontenac Plaza to get the photo shoot started, my two friends and I were very anxious to see what types of clothes we’d be wearing. However, as soon as we saw the…

From a new movie, great sale, and reading activities nearby to a free concert down the road, we found a few activities we think you’ll enjoy.
You've probably seen our Ladue-Frontenac Patch two planners, designed to help plan family friendly and grown-up weekend plans. Starting today we're combining the two to provide one-stop shopping for finding activities that appeal to kids and adults. Look for this new "Get Out" planner every Thursday. Each one will feature at least five fun events, destinations and activities in or around Ladue and Frontenac. Sometimes we'll add a bonus item that may be a bit further afield, because there are times when a great event is worth the drive! As most every St. Louisan knows, the Cardinals’ opening day is practically a regional, if not religious, holiday. So in this week’s “Get Out” planner, just in case you are looking for something else to do, …

Here's a sneak preview of colorful and chic spring fashions lighting up the local landscape.
Spring fashions are rushing to town like icy winter water cascading down the Rocky Mountains. The word is out for spring fashion and it's trifold: Fuchsia and oranges and blues are in, so too are teals, and the traditional black and white is always stately and correct. The Ladue-Frontenac Patch is invading spring like that icy water cascading off the mountaintops. We’ve lined up eight fashion models to feature everything from prom dresses and teen sportswear to sophisticated adult styling. Nothing will be left out. This shopping excursion begins in Ladue Thursday at Cha Boutique and Essential Elements then heads to MACS Design and Marta’s Boutique. The final stop will be the gown rooms of Saks Fifth Avenue and Nieman Marcus at Plaza …
