Fireworks to Blame for Damage at Immacolata in Richmond Heights

Authorities investigated damage at the church and school on Tuesday after an explosion sound was reported the previous night.

A broken window and damaged trash bin at The Church of The Immacolata in Richmond Heights were caused by fireworks, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. Police from Richmond Heights and St. Louis County, and an investigative team from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF), investigated the scene after an explosion was reported the night before. Sisters Suspected of Orchestrating Macy's Stealing Spree
