MICDS Rolls to 18th Win of the Season With 73-40 Win over Notre Dame
Freshmen on both sides put on a strong showing on the Rams home floor.
The modest crowd that came out to see the MICDS and Notre Dame girls basketball game Monday night got a glimpse of the future of local stars. Freshman Madeline Ronshausen scored 19 for the Notre Dame Rebels; Taylor Baur, also a freshman had 11 for the Rams. Good thing there’s two halves to a game. The Rams outscored the visitors 41-13 in the second half and cruised to a 73-40 victory. That pushed the Rams record to 18-2. Notre Dame, which trailed by 5 at halftime, 32-27 fell to 7-13. “We just wore them down in the second half,” said the winning coach Scott Small. “They are a good basketball team.
