Real, Personal Property Taxes Are Due December 31

The St. Louis Department of Revenue has four offices to serve patrons.

Missouri state law requires real property and personal property taxes to be paid by Dec. 31, 2012. Read this carefully to not miss the deadline. Tax payments must be postmarked or received by Dec. 31, or will be considered delinquent. Delinquent payments are subject to late charges of 2 percent interest per month, or any portion thereof, with a maximum of 18 percent per year, plus a 2 percent penalty. Self-addressed courtesy reply envelopes are included with the tax bill for mailing payments. Real property and personal property tax payments may be submitted on one check and mailed in one envelope.
