News Nearby: De Smet Jesuit Announces Principal's Retirement After 31 Years

Dr. Greg Densberger will step down in May from the Creve Coeur private school.

Another school tied to the Creve Coeur area will see a new principal come fall. Monday morning, De Smet Jesuit announced that Dr. Greg Densberger, who has served in that capacity for 31 years, will leave the post effective May 31. The school released a statement from De Smet Jesuit Principal Fr. Wally Sidney, S.J.: Over the past three decades, Dr. Densberger has tirelessly served thousands of students andtheir parents in the Jesuit tradition of education. Young men who attended De Smet Jesuit overthe last 30 years are now business owners, entrepreneurs, CEO’s, professional athletes, priests,legislators and ‘Men for Others’. Scott Small, MICDS: Principal, Basketball Coach, Husband, Dad & Good Guy

Wearing multiple hats seems to suit this MICDS administrator just fine.

In July of 2011, Scott Small took over the duties as Upper School principal at Mary Institute Country Day. That is a job unto itself. But Small leads a life much more complex than that. His life is kind of like a three-legged stool. One leg is for teaching and being an administrator. The second leg is that of girls' varsity basketball coach; and of course, the third leg is that of a dad and husband to wife Amy and two young daughters Addison and Alden. Ladue Schools Appoints Stallons to Spoede Elementary School Principal

Her last position was at Bayless Middle School.

On April 9 the Ladue Schools Board of Education approved the appointment of Dr. Kimberly J. Stallons as principal of Spoede Elementary School beginning July 1, 2012. Dr. Stallons will replace retiring Principal Dr. Connie Brawley who has been principal of the school since 2006.  Dr. Brawley’s contract with the district will expire June 30, 2012.  Stallons comes to Ladue Schools from Bayless School District where she has served as principal of Bayless Intermediate School since 2007.  Previous to her current position, Stallons was an Area Coordinator – Special Education Administrator working in the Bayless School District for Special School District. “Dr. Stallons’ past experience and education are an excellent fit for our district, and for …
