Thefts From Homes, Cars Top Recent Ladue Police Calls

Ladue police report thefts of jewelry from homes and more in this latest edition of police blotter.

The following information was supplied by the Ladue Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. Feb. 2: Magnolia Drive At 10:05 a.m., a resident reported stolen jewelry. Feb. 5: Ladue Lane At 11:54 a.m., police were called about a burglary where jewelry was stolen. Investigators said the home was accessed from the second story window. Feb. 6: 8800 Block Ladue Road At 12:34 p.m., police were called about money that went missing overnight from a cash drawer. Feb. 8: 8867 Ladue Road  At 4:54 p.m., police were called about an attempted larceny. Investigators said a male left in a black Nissan Altima and officers unable to locate him. Police Investigate Robbery, Rash of Burglaries in Ladue

Editor's note: an earlier version of the story described an armed teenage male in a Dec. 10 incident. The male was was not armed.  Here is a summary of some of activity handled by the Ladue Police Department in the past week. Monday, Dec. 10 A teenage male pushed a woman to the ground and stole her purse in the 10000 block of Clayton Road. Police are currently investigating the incident. Wednesday, Dec. 12 A resident of the 100 block of Price Road arrived home and discovered the door was damaged and items were missing. Police are currently investigating. Police Respond to Person Trapped Inside Vehicle

Police Blotter for Dec. 11, 2012

Here is a summary of some of activity handled by the Ladue Police Department in the past week. Tuesday, Dec. 4 A larceny was reported in the 8800 block of Ladue Road. Clothes were shoplifted. Wednesday, Dec. 5 A vehicle theft was reported in the 9800 block of South Forty Drive. Friday, Dec. 7 A bad check case occurred in the 9800 block of Log Cabin Court. Sunday, Dec. 9 Police and emergency crews responded to a person trapped inside a vehicle after a single-vehicle auto accident at Ladue Road and Woodcliffe Road.

Ladue Police Kills Wounded Deer

Police Blotter for Nov. 27, 2012

Here is a summary of some of activity handled by the Ladue Police Department in the past week. Monday, Nov 19 Officers found a deer stuck on a fence in the 9700 block of Old Warson Road. The deer was badly wounded and the officer had to kill it. This is the second such case reported this year.  Friday, Nov. 23 Officers assisted a motorist without gas at Highway 64 and McKnight Road. The officer transported the motorist to a gas station. The male passenger was arrested on a Des Peres warrant. Saturday, Nov. 24  A fraud case was reported a Ladue's Old Navy after a counterfeit $100 bill was received sometime that day.

Shoplifters Hit Old Navy Again

Police Blotter for Nov. 13, 2012

This is the City of Ladue Police report for Nov. 5 through Nov. 12, 2012: Monday, Nov. 5 Unknown subjects stole items at Old Navy and left in a grey KIA. Wednesday, Nov. 7 A man, 48, was arrested for shoplifting at Schnucks on Ladue Road. Man was also a fugitive from Creve Coeur Police Department. A 29-year-old woman was arrested during a traffic stop on westbound 64 at Clayton Road for driving while having a suspended license. Female was also a fugitive of Ferguson Police Department. Thursday, Nov. 8 A license plate was stolen on the parking lot of L’ecole Culinaire. Saturday, Nov. 10 Emergency crews responded to a sick case on Daniel Road. A man was found unconscious and not breathing. He was transported to an area hospital.

Tuesday May 15, 2012 1:14 p.m. A male, age 24 was turned over by the St. Louis County Intake Center, wanted on outstanding traffic warrants in the City of Ladue. Thursday, May 17, 2012 7;57 a.m. A two car accident occurred on westbound I-64/40 at Lindbergh. No injuries were reported. 10:24 a.m. A homeowner on Lorenzo Lane reported a damaged screen from someone who tried to illegally enter his residence. No suspect was found. 1:58 p.m. A male, age 22 was turned over to the City of Ladue from the St. Louis County Intake Center, wanted on outstanding traffic warrants. 4:42 p.m. An automobile accident occurred on westbound I-64/40 at Lindbergh. The contents stolen were not revealed. 11:09 p.m. A 20 year old female was picked up at the Richmond Heights Intake Center, wanted on outstanding traffic warrants. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 4:12 p.m. Ladue Pharmacy at 9832 Clayton Rd. reported a possible prescription fraud. An investigation is ongoing. 10:13 p.m. Ladue had a prisoner pickup with the Chesterfield Police Department. The 30-year-old white male was wanted on forgery and a fraudulent attempt to possess a controlled substance. This is the Ladue Police blotter crime report for the week of March 15 through March 20, 2011. Tuesday, March 15 6:34 p.m. a one vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of South Warson Road and Litzsinger Road.
