Schnucks, Old Navy Both Hit Twice This Week in Ladue

DWI, identity theft, larceny all highlight this week's blotter report in Ladue.

Tuesday, October 9, 2012 1:35 a.m. A male, age 57 was stopped on westbound I-64 at Lindbergh and charged with DWI. 9:19 a.m. The driver involved in a two-dar hit and run left the scene and was not arrested. There is no description of the escaped car. Wednesday, October 10, 2012 7:44 a.m. Four cars were involved in a pileup on westbound I-64 at McKnight. No injuries were reported. 9:35 a.m. An identity theft was reported from a home owner on Old Warson Road. Someone was cashing his checks in Chicago. Thursday, October 11, 2012 9:45 a.m. Two cars were involved in an automobile accident at I-64 at Clayton Road. 7:40 p.m. This is the first of two shoplifting cases reported from the Old Navy store in the Schnucks Crossing in Ladue. 33-Year-Old Arrested For Shop Lifting at Old Navy

Risked her life, running across both north and southbound lanes of I-170 at night.

On Friday, October 12, a female, age 33 was arrested by Ladue Police for shoplifting at the Old Navy Store at 8881 Ladue Road in the Schnucks Crossing Center. The women stole numerous items and took off on foot, crossing both the northbound and southbound lanes of I-170 near Ladue Road. She ran into an area known as “the pit”, a triangle at the exit of I-170 at Ladue Road. Covered from head to toe in heavy mud, she was taken into custody and booked and spent 24 hours in the Ladue Police lockup. There, she was able to shower and clean off all the mud. After 24 hours, she was released from custody and served a court date.
