What Would You Like To Come To The Lammert's Center In Ladue

Petco's space in Olivette needs a tenant too.

When we put this up for discussion, we simply did not get enough comments. There were a couple of suggestions, a restaurant, etc. but we need more. Put on your thinking cap and tell us in the comments section what you'd like to see fill vacancies at the Lammert Center in Ladue. Ladue, just like other communities has suffered the effects of a stubborn recession and the city has far too many business vacancies for its own good. The biggest eyesore are the numerous spaces open at the Lammert's Center on Ladue Road at Gay Avenue. Other than Splash, Southwestern Hearing Center and Kinkos, everything is up for grabs. Word is from the St. Louis Business Journal, The Original Pancake House will move into the old Lammert space this spring. We would…

Office Max Store in Ladue Crossing Closing For Good Saturday Night

Office Max keeps stores open nearby in Olivette and Brentwood.

The Office Max store in the Ladue Crossing Shopping Center will close its doors at 9 p.m. Saturday, and that is the last day they will be serving the public. The national chain will shutter its doors for good at this particular location, Saturday night. The good news is that all 12 employees at this location will be moving to other nearby Office Max locations in Olivette or Brentwood. The Office Max location at 8857 Ladue Road has been open the past five years. Gina O’Brien, store manager and head of operations will be relocating to the Town and Country store, closer to her home. In the meantime, all items in the store are reduced 50 percent in price excluding ink, toner, technology items, furniture and printing services. For the most part…

Stock Up on School Supplies at Area Stores

Stores in Ladue, Brentwood and Creve Coeur have everything you need to get your kids ready for school.

Kids' summer days are numbered, and area stores have already lined their aisles with pencils, markers, notebooks and binders. Most schools have already posted their supply lists. The indicators are clear: It's back-to-school season. In Ladue, head to Office Max for your school supplies. You can find everything from three-hole punches ($9.49 and up) and ministaplers ($2.49 and up) to combination locks ($5.10 and up) and graphing calculators ($129.99).
