Matt and his son Harry are owners of Mandel Jewelers in the MarketPlace in Ladue.
The Ladue-Frontenac Patch wishes a speedy recovery to Matt and Sue Weiss who were seriously injured in an automobile accident several weeks ago. Bernie Miklasz of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch was first to report this accident in Bernie Bits Saturday. Matt was in the most recent induction class of the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame. He was recognized for his goalkeeping at Rosary High School; Quincy University and the Dallas Tornado of the NASL. Matt has been an active life-time member of the Downtown St. Louis Rotary Club. Their son Harry was an All-American attacker at DeSmet, Indiana University and he played professionally also. Harry will continue running the family jewelry business in his father's absence.
