Ladue's Becky Sauerbrunn makes squad of 18 for London
Ladue High graduate Becky Sauerbrunn was selected to be on the 18 player squad for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Veteran soccer writer Tom Timmerman of the Post-Dispatch reports on her selection. Sauerbrunn has been a regular on the U.S. National team for several years. Additionally, Hope Solo and Shannon Boxx, who played for the St. Louis Athletica have been selected to the Olympic squad along with Heather Mitts, the wife of A.J. Feeley, reserve quarterback for the St. Louis Rams last year.
