Police: Open Garage Doors Lead To More Thefts In Ladue

Police say $7,000 worth of items and cash were taken in one of the cases.

April 13 At 12:19 p.m., a resident of Oakleigh Lane reported that a purse had been stolen from an open attached garage. Police report the value of the stolen items at approximately $700. April 8 At 12:57 p.m. a purse was reported as stolen from a car parked inside an open garage on Fieldstone Trail. Police say there was roughly $7,000 in money and jewelry inside the purse. Open garage doors were also related to burglaries on Pebble Creek Lane and Willow Hill Road earlier this month.

Ladue Police Make DWI Arrests, Investigate Stolen Property

The following cases came between March 25 and March 30, 2013.

3/30 3/29 Police made a traffic stop at 10:07 on interstate 64 at Spoede Road, arresting a 47 year-old male for Driving While Intoxicated. 3/27 Police responded to a 2 car accident at I-170 and Ladue Road at 6:20 p.m. There were no injuries. 3/26 Police responded at 10:48 p.m. to Westbound interstate 64 at Clayton Road for a 2 vehicle accident. One of the drivers involved was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. 3/25 Police responded at 5:53 a.m. to a 2-car accident eastbound on interstate 64. Police Log: Car vs. Utility Pole & Suspicious Activity

The following incidents were reported by Ladue Police between March 11-17.

March 17 At 12:13 a.m, a resident of Granada Way reported a car with people ducking down inside as he passed by. Police found three people inside and arrested a 19 year old man for drug possession. At 8:48 p.m. officers were called to a 1 car accident at Clayton Road and Eversdale Court where a vehcile struck a utility pole. The driver was taken home. March 14 At 12:24 p.m. A resident on Willow Hill Road asked officers to check a home. Officers discovered a burglary had taken place. It is under investigation March 13 At 12:30 a.m. officers responded to a home on Willow Hill Road for a report of a suspicious noise. At the scene, officers found 3 people running from the area toward N. McKnight Road. A laptop computer was found in the yard. …

Here is a summary of some of activity handled by the Ladue Police Department in the past week. Tuesday, Dec. 4 A larceny was reported in the 8800 block of Ladue Road. Clothes were shoplifted. Wednesday, Dec. 5 A vehicle theft was reported in the 9800 block of South Forty Drive. Friday, Dec. 7 A bad check case occurred in the 9800 block of Log Cabin Court. Sunday, Dec. 9 Police and emergency crews responded to a person trapped inside a vehicle after a single-vehicle auto accident at Ladue Road and Woodcliffe Road.

Here is a summary of some of activity handled by the Ladue Police Department in the past week. Tuesday, Nov. 27 A person was bitten by a dog on Log Cabin Drive. The dog was put in quarantine and the owner was summoned on a vicious dog charge. Thursday, Nov. 29 Police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Ladue and South Price Road. One vehicle was overturned and one person, trapped inside one of the vehicles was rescued and taken to an area hospital. Friday, Nov. 30 Police responded to a family disturbance on Fair Oaks Drive. A police officer transported the wife to an area-hospital for evaluation. Sunday, Dec. 2 A boyfriend asked police to check on his girlfriend, who sent him pictures via her cell phone showing him self-inflicted wounds…

Shoplifter Arrested at Old Navy

This is the City of Ladue Police report for Nov. 13 through Nov. 18, 2012 Tuesday, Nov. 13 A wallet was reported stolen from a locker room at Ladue Horton Watkins High School. Two stolen credit cards were used at Creve Coeur Camera. Wednesday, Nov. 14 A call about a suspicious individual turned into police arresting a 24-year-old woman for stealing at Old Navy. Friday, Nov. 16 A student assaulted another student in the 10000 block of Litzsinger Road. A purse was stolen at Tilles Park.

Shoplifters Hit Old Navy Again

Police Blotter for Nov. 13, 2012

This is the City of Ladue Police report for Nov. 5 through Nov. 12, 2012: Monday, Nov. 5 Unknown subjects stole items at Old Navy and left in a grey KIA. Wednesday, Nov. 7 A man, 48, was arrested for shoplifting at Schnucks on Ladue Road. Man was also a fugitive from Creve Coeur Police Department. A 29-year-old woman was arrested during a traffic stop on westbound 64 at Clayton Road for driving while having a suspended license. Female was also a fugitive of Ferguson Police Department. Thursday, Nov. 8 A license plate was stolen on the parking lot of L’ecole Culinaire. Saturday, Nov. 10 Emergency crews responded to a sick case on Daniel Road. A man was found unconscious and not breathing. He was transported to an area hospital.
