Monday, Dec. 10 A teenage male pushed a woman to the ground and stole her purse in the 10000 block of Clayton Road. Police are currently investigating the incident. Police Respond to Person Trapped Inside Vehicle

Here is a summary of some of activity handled by the Ladue Police Department in the past week. Tuesday, Dec. 4 A larceny was reported in the 8800 block of Ladue Road. Clothes were shoplifted. Wednesday, Dec. 5 A vehicle theft was reported in the 9800 block of South Forty Drive. Friday, Dec. 7 A bad check case occurred in the 9800 block of Log Cabin Court. Sunday, Dec. 9 Police and emergency crews responded to a person trapped inside a vehicle after a single-vehicle auto accident at Ladue Road and Woodcliffe Road.

Police: Man Performed Online Sex Act For Ladue Student

The incident occurred through a video chat room.

Ladue Police are currently investigating a sex offense case involving a Ladue Middle School student.  Ladue Police Sergeant Gregg Stork said that on Nov. 29, a middle-aged man exposed and masturbated on camera to the student.   The incident happened after the student took a picture of his/her (gender of the student is unknown at this time) own genitals with a cellphone via a video chat room, according to police. Police confirmed the student was using a school computer at the time of the incident.  The Ladue School District released the following statement regarding the incident: Last week, it was discovered a middle school student had gained access to an inappropriate website during the school day.  As the activity was taking place, the …

UPDATE: Case Against Ladue Police Officer Dropped

Charges of domestic assault against Steven Manasco were dropped due to an “uncooperative victim.”

*Updated Nov. 3 with information about Manasco's position on the Ladue Police Department.  Ladue Police officer Steven Manasco, who on early August was charged with third-degree domestic assault, has been released of any charges against him, KSDK reports.  Manasco, 35, a resident of Affton, allegedly assaulted his girlfriend by pushing and then punching her in the face, according to the initial St. Louis County Police report.  KSDK reports that prosecutors say his girlfriend would not cooperate in the case.  The Ladue Police Department confirmed Manasco resigned from his position with the department a month ago.  Read previous story: Ladue Police Officer Charged with Domestic Assault

Police Activity in Ladue: Stolen Phone at School, Accidents

Here is the weekly update from the Ladue Police Department. Wednesday, Sept. 5 At 4:14 p.m., police were called to the scene of a two-car accident at the intersection of eastbound Interstate 64 and McKnight Road. There were no injuries. At 4:41 p.m., police report that someone stole a cell phone from the kitchen area at the Litzsinger School, 10094 Litzsinger Road. Thursday, Sept. 6 Police were called at about 5:56 p.m. to a report of electrical wires pulled down by a tree that fell down at 51 Pointer Lane. Police referred the call to Ameren UE, which responded and repaired the felled lines.
