Ladue's Samantha Levin Continues to Pile Up the Medals

It was bronze in the 800 meter junior championships in Eugene, Oregon.

Ladue graduate and middle distance sensation Samantha Levin continues to burn up the tracks across America this summer. Both Levin and her teammate Montenae Roy-Speight will be freshmen at LSU next month. In the meantime, Levin ran a sizzling 2:07.35 to capture the bronze and third place at the USA Junior Outdoor championships in Eugene, Oregon in June. The winning time by a collegiate runner was 2:06.37. Levin had a bronze medal performance as well at the redent IAAF Junior Pan-American Games in Miramar, FL. There, she captured third in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:07.68. Obviously, Levin has her sites on the International Olympics in London in 2012.
