Ladue, MICDS, Burroughs performers Advance to Semifinals of St. Louis Teen Competition

Bi-state area high school students compete for scholarships and prizes.

  Information was provided by the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation. The 3rd Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition moves on to its semi-final round Saturday, March 2 when 37 high school acts take the stage to select finalists who will compete at The Fabulous Fox on Friday, April 12 (a complete list of students/schools can be found here).   The following local students advanced to the semifinal round March 2: Wendy Uelk, pianist of Burroughs also performed outstanding in the preliminary round of the competition. This year, 155 acts—30 percent more than last year—registered to compete.  In early February the competition process began with a two-day preliminary round held at three locations.  37 semi-finalists were selected to …

School Bells Ring Throughout Ladue and Frontenac

Back to the books at Ladue, Community, St. Joe, Villa, Burroughs and MICDS.

The countdown is on for back to school 2012-13. The vacation season is about over, and students are ready to get back to the basics. Here’s what’s happening at the schools in the Ladue-Frontenac Patch Ladue School District All students and teachers return to the classroom on Tuesday, August 14. Ladue has about 3,000 students in all grades. The breakdown of enrollment for all buildings at all levels will not be determined until sometime later in September. Work continues on the new West Campus. The driveway between the Ladue Early Childhood Center and the main building is completed.
