Sandler Throws Gem in Ladue Win over John Burroughs

Jason Sandler pitched a complete game in the 6-2 Ram victory Wednesday at John Burroughs.

Ladue, which had played brilliant defense, had a couple of miscues which resulted in a pair of Bomber runs. It was too little and too late as Ladue snapped a two-game losing streak in the 6-2 victory. "Sure, I would have liked the shutout," Sandler said. "But I am definitely satisfied with the win." Fast Start for MICDS; Great Finish for Ladue

Ladue Rams overcome 7-1 deficit for 9-7 baseball win.

The MICDS Rams jumped all over Ladue hurler Jason Sander for three runs in the first inning, three runs in the second and one in the third. Buddemeyer was an early-game hitting star, belting a three-run home to left in the second inning, building the lead to 6-0. His home run landed halfway up the hill in left, leaving the park at the 330 foot mark. Ladue’s big frame …

It probably happened in the Jim Wolfe era who was in attendance, taking in the game. The Rams opened up the 2012 season with a narrow 7-6 win in the opening round of the Ritenour tournament Saturday. The lush diamond was splashed with glorious sunlight, and a large group of fans on both sides pulled up lawn chairs and took in the action. The Rams did not disappoint. This team is loaded with talented juniors and seniors who figure to be a playoff bound team this May. Get the Ladue-Frontenac Patch in your email every morning. Moments after John Cline grabbed a…
