Ladue, MICDS, Burroughs performers Advance to Semifinals of St. Louis Teen Competition

Bi-state area high school students compete for scholarships and prizes.

  Information was provided by the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation. The 3rd Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition moves on to its semi-final round Saturday, March 2 when 37 high school acts take the stage to select finalists who will compete at The Fabulous Fox on Friday, April 12 (a complete list of students/schools can be found here).   The following local students advanced to the semifinal round March 2: Wendy Uelk, pianist of Burroughs also performed outstanding in the preliminary round of the competition. Local Ladue High Teen Vies for Spot on Fox Theatre Stage

This year's St. Louis Teen Talent Competition starts Saturday. A total of 155 acts registered this year, which is up from 118 in 2012. See which local teen talent is participating.

The 3rd Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition gets under way Feb. 9-10 when 155 high school students take their acts onstage in the preliminary round of a competition sponsored by the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation. "We are pleased to have added more prizes and scholarship awards for our participating students,” stated Mary Strauss, president of Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation (FPACF) board of directors in a news release. “We hope all St. Louisans will come out and support our talented teens for the final competition on April 12 at the Fabulous Fox.
