Area track stars, soccer, baseball all heating it up this weekend.
The spring sports season has reached a full fever pitch now. As the weather clears, the teams are getting outdoors for a whole host of events. Ladue needs bright skies for the Phil Brusca/Connie Strobach boys and girls track meet this weekend. Last year's event was washed out by two continuous days of rain. Expect Jehu Chesson of Ladue to be one of the big hurdle stars on display at that meet. Meanwhile, Zeke Elliott will be in the hurdle events at the prestigious annual Kansas University Relays.
