He should have called it the "State of the Unions Address", since so many of his spending programs go to union, and often union-only, workers. Roads and bridges? Union-only labor. Expanded early childhood education? Highly unionized. Government jobs? Highly unionized. All of which kick back straight into only one political party's pocket.
