Girls' Summer Camp at Tilles Park Celebrated 100 Years of Girl Scouting
Brief Interlude at Tilles Park in Brentwood was a fun and educational experience for all who attended.
Girls entering Kindergarten through fifth grade participated in the Girl Scout summer day camp at Tilles Park in Ladue last week. This five day camp was packed full of fun, games and educational experiences. “The camp teaches the girls outdoor skills. They get to meet other girls from girl scouting that are not from their troop. We teach core values, leadership and service,” said Kat Dunne, Director of Day Camp at Tilles Park and Troop Leader at St. Michael’s School in Clayton. The theme this year, A Century of Girl Scouting, was chosen to celebrate the Girl Scouts Centennial year.
