Jeremy Schlensker, 35, was pouring over some very old blue prints of his recently purchased business, Ladue Automotive, Inc. The dog-earned prints, created by St. Louis architects Wedemeyer & Hecker in the 1950s represent the structure you see today. In other words: not much has changed. "Only thing is, there was supposed to be an architectural feature, giving some interest to the building's facade," said he proud new owner. "Otherwise, the place looks much like it did in the 1950s." Schlensker was told that the land where his business sits was the site of an open-air farmers' market in the 1930s.
