MICDS' Athletic Director Don Mauer Recognized by the American Cancer Society
Former coach presented with the Stephanie Phillips Survivorship Award.

Don Mauer, athletic direcotor at Mary Institute Country Day School and former basketball coach was presented Saturday with the American Cancer Society’s Stephanie Phillips Survivorship Award. This award is presented each year to person in the Eastern Missouri Region sporting community who exemplifies strength and courage in the fight against cancer. Maurer is a survivor of prostate cancer and has participated on the Coaches vs. Cancer committee since the beginning of the program in 2010.
