Ladue Mayor Gets First Scalp Massage at Breeze Blow Dry Bar

Ladue’s newest business, Breeze Blow Dry Bar, opened Friday morning to the tune of Oppa Gangnam Style, balloons and a pleasant 60-degree weather. Mayor Tony Bommarito was the guest of honor at the grand opening ceremony. He was the first official customer, enjoying a scalp massage—the Bar’s specialty. Breeze Blow Dry Bar Opens in Ladue

A grand opening ceremony will be held Friday morning.

Ladue’s new Breeze Blow Dry Bar, set to open in a grand ceremony at 10 a.m. on Friday, will bring Ladue residents a $35, "affordable luxury," said co-owner Susannah Danforth. The concept of this beauty salon is to have a place where “Time-crunched women could breeze in and let professional stylists wash, blow dry and style their hair, leaving them perfectly polished and coiffed in just 35 minutes. An added scalp massage, conditioning treatment, and refreshing beverage left them a little pampered too,” according to a news release about the ceremony.
