Ladue Golfer Ready to Take His Game to the Next Level

Seth Smith is going to Kansas State on a golfing scholarship.

Without meaning to brag, Ladue senior golfer Seth Smith has an accomplishment equivalent to professional golfer John Daly. Not bad company to keep on the golf circuit. This Ladue High senior has second lowest round ever recorded for Missouri High School golf in a 9-hole match. He shot five under (31) on a par 36 course. That record is held by two-time major winner John Daly. Smith is currently ranked No. 1 junior golfer in Missouri according to Junior Golf Scoreboard.  He finished sixth in the Missouri State high school golf championships last year, despite having pneumonia. Rams Coach Has Championship Rings, Electronics Stolen From Home

Kirkwood Police said two men stole NFC championship and Big 12 championship rings among other items from the home.

Two men allegedly stole more than $28,000 in electronics and jewelry, including NFC championship ring and Big 12 championship rings, on Dec. 31 from the Kirkwood home of Rob Boras, the St. Louis Rams tight ends coach. James Bright, of the 6200 block of Sunshine Drive in High Ridge, and Jeffrey Medcalf, of the 1100 block of Briarhurst in West County, were charged Friday with second-degree burglary and felony stealing more than $25,000, a class B felony. Kirkwood Police said the men broke into Boras’ home at about 1:28 p.m. Dec. 31.
