May 8: At 5:12 a.m., a 31-year-old man was arrested on outstanding traffic charges during a traffic stop at Interstate 170 and Brentwood Boulevard. How common is shoplifting by older folks?
How often are elderly people busted for shoplifting? It's not as rare as you might think, and it happened last week at the Schnucks in Ladue. The Ladue Police Department reported that they arrested a 77-year-old man for shoplifting at about 1:14 p.m. on April 17. The address, 8867 Ladue Road, is the address for the Schnucks supermarket in Ladue. Just this week, police in Arizona arrested a 61-year-old man and his 89-year-old mother who they say committed 32 separate thefts over a five-day period. Statistics about who shoplifts are hard to come by. Christopher A. Frank, 42, pleaded guilty to one count of an adult harassing a child, a class D felony. He is scheduled to appear in court Thursday in a separate DWI case.
The Ladue businessman who pled guilty to harassment of a child following an incident at Home Depot in Brentwood is due back in court today. According to Missouri Case.net, Christopher A. Frank is due in St. Louis County Court on a misdemeanor DWI case. Frank was arrested July 5, 2012 in connection to the DWI case, Case.net notes. An 11 a.m. trial setting is on Judge Mary Bruntrager Schroder's docket. Frank, 42, of the 700 block of Cella Road in Ladue, last appeared in court in February, when he pleaded guilty a count adult harassing a child, a class D felony. One accident let to a DWI arrest, according to Ladue police.
The following information was supplied by the Ladue Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction where an arrest was made. Feb. 18: At 12:21 p.m., police responded to a single vehicle accident at McKnight and Moydalgan roads. A 45 year-old-man was arrested for DWI in connection to the crash, police stated. Feb. 19: At 8:52 a.m., police responded to a two-car crash on southbound Interstate 170 at Ladue Road. There were no injuries. Feb. 22: At 5:35 a.m., police responded to a one-car accident on Westbound Highway 40 at Lindbergh Boulevard. There were no reported injuries. Feb. 23: Ar 12:18 p.m., police responded to a two-car crash on westbound highway 40 at Lindbergh Boulevard. No injuries were reported.

Feb. 11: At 3:21 p.m., police responded to the 8800 Block Ladue Road for a report of bad checks. Feb. 13: At 4:12 p.m., police were called to 8867 Ladue Road for a report of stealing. The report was made some time after the alleged crime occurred, but someone reportedly stole a motorized cart from Schnucks. Feb. 14: At 4:30 p.m., a 20-year-old woman was arrested for shoplifting from the Old Navy in the 8800 block of Ladue Road. Here are the results from last weekend's Operation A.R.R.E.S.T. in St. Louis County. It was focused on cracking down on impaired driving.
Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) officers released the results in of the crackdown in a news release. As previously reported by Patch, “Operation A.R.R.E.S.T” (Alcohol Related Response Enforcement Strike Team) took place last weekend in St. Louis County Saturday. According to the recent news release, the eight-hour operation netted the following results.

Ladue police report a "suspicious activity" call led to an arrest, plus officers responded to two calls of assaults involving juveniles.

Feb. 17: At 2:56 p.m., police responded an assault call in the 1200 block of WarsonRoad. Authorities said two juveniles were involved in the altercation. Feb. 13: At 8:56 p.m., a 23-year-old man was arrested for DWI after a gas station attendant in the 9100 block of Clayton Road called police to report suspicious activity. Feb. 12: At 2:07 p.m., police were called to the 10000 Block of Litzsinger Road for an assault involving a juvenile.

Feb. 7: Westbound I-64 & Clayton Road At 11:50 p.m., a 25 year-old man was pulled over and arrested for DWI.
