Ladue School Board President Won’t Seek Another Term
Filings for April’s election to the Ladue School Board opened Tuesday.
Two people have filed for a seat in the Ladue School Board for the upcoming April 3 elections. Current vice president of the board Jeff Kopolow, whose term is expiring, and William Shirley. There are two seats up for election. Board president Jayne Langsam's term is also expiring, although she does not plan to run for re-election, said Susan Dielmann, Ladue School District’s communications director. If elected, each board member will serve a term of three years. The requirements for filing are: Filing opened Dec. 11, and will close Jan. 15. Those interested can file at the Ladue School District’s Administrative Center, 9703 Conway Road, St. Louis, Mo 63124, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

A large percentage of people in Ladue send their kids to private schools and the overall demographic is older which means they may not have kids in the home. It is up a little during the recession, however, Olivette remains the biggest user of the schools and the contributor of the fewest dollars.
