Tonight, the college football bowl season comes to an end, as Notre Dame and Alabama square off in the Discover BCS National Championship Game. The Fighting Irish and the Crimson Tide, ranked number 1 and 2 respectively in the BCS poll, kick off at 7:30 CT. The game can be seen on ESPN TV and can also be heard on 101 ESPN Radio. Stanford and Pitt caved in to ND when they remembered who they were and whom they were playing. Alabama won't do that...any more than Rocky Marciano did when he realized he was in the ring with the hero of all the coloreds, Joe Louis. Alabama will win as much for its players' mental toughness as their skills. The Catholics won't be happy later tonight. And the Stanford/Pitt players will feel even… more ›
