MVP Week 9: Winning Big On The Field, In The Vote, Bridget Condie, MICDS Field Hockey

The freshman forward from MICDS is leading the Rams in goals and total scoring this season, and was an easy winner in the MVP voting this week.

Bridget Condie, the phenomenal freshman from MICDS, who leads the Rams in goals and total scoring this season, was nominated for the Patch MVP "Athlete of the Week" award, after scoring two goals and three assists in a pair of exciting victories over Edwardsville and Notre Dame de Sion.

Since then, Condie has added two more goals and two more assists, to raise her season totals to 14 goals and 11 assists -- the fourth-most goals and second-most assists in the Metro League conference this fall -- as MICDS has advanced to the Midwest Field Hockey Championship Tournament quarterfinals after defeating Rockwood Summit and Kirkwood this week.

This week, the Week 9 Ladue-Frontenac Patch MVP "Athlete of the Week" will lead the No. 5 Rams into a showdown against No. 4 Visitation, where the winner will earn a trip to the championship semifinals and a likely date with No. 1 ranked Cor Jesu.
