Ladue's Baseball Season Ends at 18-4
Lex Kaplan suspended; Rams have to play without his services.
It was not the way the Ladue Rams had intended to end a great season. John Ceriotti delivered a walk-off RBI single in the home-half of the 9th inning to edge the visiting Rams 2-1 in the district champipmnship game at St. Louis U. High.
For SLUH, this registers their 23rd consecutive district title. Earlier this year on April 11, Ladue blanked SLUH, 4-0.
The Rams were without the services of senior center fielder Lex Kaplan. He was ejected from Monday's semifinal win over Webster Groves with just one out to go. Serving a one-game suspension, the Rams played without his services.
