John Burroughs Football Schedule Set For Fall 2013 Varsity Season
The Bombers Fall Football season will start at 1 p.m. Aug. 31 at home against Central (Cape Girardeau).

It's a possibility for the John Burroughs Varsity football team, which went undefeated in the Metro League and 13-1 overall last year, according to St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports. The Bombers beat the Priory Rebels to claim the Metro League's top spot in 2012 and will have to do so again this year to have any chance of a repeat season.
The John Burroughs Bombers will begin this season on the last day of August, against Central, in a game that's set to kick off at 1 p.m. The Bombers and Rebels will clash this season on Sept. 12 at Priory.

- Aug. 31: 1 p.m. vs Central (Cape Girardeau)
- Sept. 6: 7 p.m. at Lutheran South
- Sept. 12: 4:30 p.m. at Priory
- Sept. 21: 2 p.m. at Lutheran North
- Sept. 28: 2 p.m. vs MICDS
- Oct. 5: 2 p.m. vs Westminster Christian Academy
- Oct. 18: 7 p.m. at Clayton
- Oct. 26: 1 p.m. vs Maplewood-Richmond Heights
