Golf Season Rapidly Coming to a Close

A big shout out to Old Warson Pro Rick Ewing; our highly skilled summer adviser.

It seems impossible to state that fall is just around the corner when the heat and humidity is topping 110 degrees. But that's simply the case.

Football and soccer have moved to center stage and the golfing season will end sometime around mid-November.

We want to give a big shout out to our resident pro Rick Ewing from Old Warson Country Club who gave our readers free tips each week on how to improve their game.

We heard from many of these readers on just how detailed and informative Rick's tips were. He's been on the job, helping the local golfers since early this spring.

Rick is a very versatile athlete. Formerly, he played high school basketball and golf at Webster Groves then moved onto the college ranks for more golfing education.

We hope Rick comes back for the second go-round in the spring of 2012.
