CONTEST: Local Olympics Trivia

You could win a Patch prize pack and a $25 Visa gift card by answering these questions.

More than a dozen athletes from Virginia and several from D.C. are already in London preparing for the 2012 Olympic Games, which start with the opening ceremony Friday.

In honor of them (and to have a little fun), we've put together this trivia contest on local Olympic athletes past and present.

If you answer all of these questions correctly by putting your answers in the comments section below, we'll put you in a drawing to win a Patch prize pack in addition to a $25 VISA gift card.

One winner will be contacted via email the week of Aug. 12, 2012.

Here are the questions:

1.  Which 1982 Robinson Secondary School graduate ran in the men’s decathalon in Barcelona in 1992?

2.  Which Olympian, who now lives in the District, was the youngest to compete in Barcelona in 1992?

3.  Which two-time Olympic team member graduated from W.T. Woodson High School and later started a foundation to provide scholarships to young figure skaters?

4.  Which U.S. Women’s  Soccer team member attended Lake Braddock Secondary School and later competed in the 1996 Olympic Games, helping to bring home a gold medal?

Good luck!
