Villa Duchesne’s Mock Trial Team has advanced to State Finals. The students compete in April at the federal courthouse in downtown St. Louis.

Members of the team are Captains Ellen Bruntrager and Jacqueline Smith as well as team members Anna Coyle, Lindsay Dames, Allison Federer, Erika Gotway, Shelby Marshall, Lindsey McGrath, Madeline McGrath, Molly McLaughlin, Kimmy Schlafly, Karissa Simon, Kayla Simon, Mary Catherine Steenberge, Madeleine Swanstrom, Grace Walsh, and Kate Wehrman.

Special recognition goes to attorney coaches Dan Bruntrager and Mike Smith as well as faculty moderators Kendra Reif and Tony Fressola.

The Missouri High School Mock Trial Competition annually serves more than 600 students from more than 65 schools across the state.
