Hear from the coach; hear from Kaitlin Springer about her game-winning-goal on Thursday.

Not often does the goal keeper get an assist in soccer. "But it happens sometimes," beamed Villa Duchesne's senior forward Kaitlin Springer. At the 64:34 point of the game, Springer got a bounding ball from goal keeper Sydney Miller, perfectly placed and not touched, and one-timed it past Principia keeper Jessica Clouse for the victory.

Turns out this was the game-winning-goal and the only goal in a 1-0 blanking of the visiting Panthers. With that, Villa climbed over .500, upping the weather shortened season with a 5-4-2 record.

The Saints will travel to Clayton Monday for a non league game. They host Whitfield today at 4:15.
