Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School senior Grace Leeker has officially signed her letter of intent to play Division I Field Hockey with Miami University of Ohio. As a member of Villa Duchesne’s field hockey team, she has been named team captain, first in Team All Conference, and second in Team All Metro. Most recently, Grace was selected as Conference Player of the Year.
When asked about signing with Miami University, Grace responded, “I fell in love with the people, the campus, the classes, and the opportunities it would give me. I knew Miami would make me grow as a person and being able to play field hockey there is just another thing that I know will bring me more opportunities to succeed.”
In addition to field hockey, Grace has participated in basketball, soccer, and track & field and managed the Villa Duchesne swim team.
