Three St. Joe Students Receive World Aquatic Scholarships

Program includes a group trip to Florida in June.

 

Three St. Joseph’s Academy students, Rachel Dalske, Allison Herrmann and Sarah Raney, have been recently named as recipients of the coveted scholarships provided by the World Aquarium Aquatic Marine Science Institute.

The WAAMSI marine science scholarship program is providing these students the opportunity to expand their knowledge of the ocean and aquatic animals through Saturday coursework and then use that knowledge to on a research trip over the summer.

The scholars will attend classes at the St. Louis Aquarium in the City Museum and will then travel with the group to Florida to carry out marine science research June 4-11.
