Thomas Militello Gets to Start All Over With the Dartmouth Football Team

Just a year ago, he was completing 70 percent of his passes for 3,400 yards and 44 TDs.

One year ago, quarterback Thomas Militello was getting ready for the year of his career at MICDS. He engineered 14 victories in 15 games, falling first time all year to the Webb City Cardinals in a wild Show Me Bowl title game where he completed 36 of 46 attempts for 415 yards and 5 TDs in a 56-42 loss.

Fast forward one year and Militello is training to learn his way around the football complex at Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire.

He isn’t anywhere to be found on the depth chart at this moment. He will have plenty of opportunities to learned behind seasoned veterans.

Still his coach Buddy Teeven is high on this prospect. “He lit it up in the state championship. We liked him when he got to our camp. He’s a good-sized guy who moves his feet pretty well and puts the ball right on the money. He’s a good leader who played at a school that sends guys to Ivy (League) schools and elsewhere with regularity.”

The Ladue-Frontenac Patch will keep a close eye on Militello’s prospects this fall.

Last year, Militello threw for 3,400 yards and 44 touchdowns. The MICDS Rams now get to go back and find a new quarterback in 2012.
