St. Joe Tennis Team Definitely Getting Net Results

The St. Joe  tennis team is definitely on a roll this year and is having its best season since 2009.

The tennis Angels are undefeated in dual matches, including a 7-2 win over Visitation, who were undefeated in 43 consecutive matches.  St. Joe also beat Lafayette 9-0 earlier this year. 

Lafayette was the winner of the district matches last year, that included St. Joe.  In addition to the matches won, St. Joe has also taken first place in the Parkway Doubles Tournament, the Bloomington Purple Tournament, and the Pembroke Tournament in Kansas City. 

St. Joe is headed back to Bloomington this weekend for the annual Purple and White Tournament.  Then it’s on to districts.

St. Joe is anchored by seniors Taylor Revling, Grace Hyde and Ellie Bisig.  Revling and Hyde are the 2011 State Doubles Champions. The other top players are sophomores Olivia Conway, Ellie Helton and Kaki McDaniel.
