Skippy Keefer Relays at Burroughs This Saturday

One of the most popular track events in the region each spring.

The 13th annual Skippy Keefer Relays is one of the largest high school track and field events in the St. Louis area. Previous meets have drawn as many as 24 girls' teams and 16 boys' teams—as many as 900 student athletes. The event runs from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm.

This year's field will include sprint and hurdle state champion Ezekiel Elliott of Burroughs; middle distance state champ Amos Bartelsmeyer of MICDS; sprinters from Nerinx Hall and other regional stars.

Skippy Keefer is the retired athletic director and former coach at Burroughs for many years.
