Share Your Knowledge with Ladue Schools by Participating on a Board Advisory Committee

The Ladue School District is fortunate to have residents with a wide variety of skills, knowledge, experience and talents.  Anyone with an interest in sharing their expertise with the Ladue School District is invited to apply for a position on one of the district’s Board Advisory Committees.

The following positions are open and new members will begin serving in August 2012:

Curriculum & Instruction Committee: (8 seats to be filled.)
Provides the district with a resource of knowledgeable and interested teachers, administrators and residents who raise and study topics, make suggestions and provide coordination to the curricular instructional processes of the district.

Facilities Planning Committee: (2 seats to be filled.)
Works to develop and recommend long-term financial plans for day-to-day operations, existing facility maintenance and new capital (building) projects.

Finance Committee:  (7 seats to be filled.)
Reviews the business activities of the district, including oversight of fund management. The committee reviews on a monthly basis: bids, contracts, claims and disbursements, budget transfers and other financial issues.

Technology Committee: (3 seats to be filled.)
Advises the Board of Education and administration on technology-related issues in the district. The committee oversees the development, based on best practices, and implementation of the district's technology plan.
