- In University City, the will launch its Valentine’s Day Trunk Show. The show will run from Tuesday until Valentine’s Day and will feature local artist Lisa Colby, who will be sculpting fine sterling silver. Also featured will be the ethereal gold knit jewelry of Susan Freda and a semi-annual clearance sale offering deep discounts on select jewelry, glass, clay, holiday ornaments, fiber and home accessories. The presentation will focus on how pet adoption works, choosing the right pet, costs and responsibilities of pet ownership and why adopting a pet “is the kind choice.” The University City Public library is hosting the event, which begins at noon.
