"The recruiting process has been a very exciting time for me,” said Matt.  “There is so much to like about Michigan.  The school has so many resources and opportunities for both Lacrosse and beyond.  I am a big fan of Coach John Paul and assistant coaches Ken Broschart and Ryan Danehy and the program.  That combined with the opportunity to play for a Divison 1 team against the very best is what led me to my final decision.”

“Matt plays hard and has combined his desire to win with skill and grace under pressures,” said Andy Kay Head MICDS Varsity Lacrosse Coach and Middle School English teacher.  “Matt had a break out summer. He was rated as a top prospect at the Nike Blue Chip camp in Baltimore and was selected as one of six goalies nationwide to attend the Nike Ride showcase in Oregon. He has continually risen to the occasion and been a standout member of our team.”

In addition to playing Varsity Lacrosse for MICDS, Matt was also invited to participate in Nike Lacrosse’s ‘The Ride,’ a showcase featuring 100 of the game’s rising high school stars in Portland, Oregon over the summer.  He also plays Football and Hockey for the RAMS.
