MICDS' Miranda Cotton Offensive MVP of National Softball Games

Rams don't have a softball program, so she plays volleyball instead.

Miranda Cotton, a junior at MICDS was recently selected to play in the Fast-pitch Scouting Report All-American games in Akron, Ohio.


She was named the offensive MVP of the tournament held August 8-12. She went five for eight at the plate; hitting 1 triple, 2 doubles, 2 singles with 4 RBIs and had a delayed stolen base.

Miranda is a first honors student at MICDS and plays volleyball in the fall. MICDS does not offer softball.

She plays for the Academy Gold Under 18 youth team and is a shortstop, second baseman and center fielder. She has been involved with softball since age 5.
