Ladue Schools Appoints Stallons to Spoede Elementary School Principal
Her last position was at Bayless Middle School.
On April 9 the Ladue Schools Board of Education approved the appointment of Dr. Kimberly J. Stallons as principal of Spoede Elementary School beginning July 1, 2012. Dr. Stallons will replace retiring Principal Dr. Connie Brawley who has been principal of the school since 2006. Dr. Brawley’s contract with the district will expire June 30, 2012.
Stallons comes to Ladue Schools from Bayless School District where she has served as principal of Bayless Intermediate School since 2007. Previous to her current position, Stallons was an Area Coordinator – Special Education Administrator working in the Bayless School District for Special School District.
“Dr. Stallons’ past experience and education are an excellent fit for our district, and for Spoede Elementary School,” explains Superintendent Dr. Marsha Chappelow. “We’re delighted to be announcing her appointment and welcoming her to the Ladue School District.”

Dr. Stallons received her Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership from St. Louis University in May 2009. She received a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from Nicholis State University in Thibodaux, LA, and her Certification in English and Special Education from Muskingum College in New Concord, OH.
“The district conducted an extensive search,” according to Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Dr. Judy Sclair. “Dr. Brawley has done an exceptional job leading Spoede Elementary School for the last six years. We are confident Dr. Stallons will build even further on this success in the years to come.”
