Ladue School District has 21 New Certified Teachers This Coming School Year
Every school has new staff with the exception of the middle school.
The Ladue School District has 21 new members of its certified teaching staff for the 2011-12 school year. Here are the new teaching hires, listed by buildings:
Reed Elementary School
Heather Clark, teacher
She is a graduate of Missouri Baptist University with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and has served as a teacheing assistant at Reed.
Kelly Emshoff, teacher
She has a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Missouri, St. Louis and served as a teaching assistant at Reed.
Rebecca Hamm, third grade

She has an elementary education degree from Southwest Baptist University and taught first and third grade in the Fair Play School District.
Kristen Horvath, second, third or fourth grade
She has a bachelor's degree from Saint Louis University and previously taught in the Clayton School District.
Abby Imming, fourth grade

She has a master's in education from Missouri Baptist University and was an instructional aide in the Webster Groves School District.
Amy Rich, third grade
She has a master’s degree in elementary education from Washington University and served as an elementary teacher in the Kirkwood School District and was a long-term substitute at Reed and Spoede Elementary School.
Old Bonhomme Elementary School
Hayley Arnold, counselor
She has a specialist degree in administration from William Woods University. She has served as an elementary, middle and high school counselor and taught first grade in the Osage Beach School District and the Fulton School District.
Brett Kelley, third grade
He has a master’s degree in elementary education from Washington University and a bachor’s degree from the University of Missouri in English. He has served as a teaching assistant at Old Bonhomme.
Mandy Wagner, first grade
She possesses a master’s degree in elementary education from the University of Missouri and was a math assistant at Old Bonhomme and an Early Childhood Educator at La Petite Academy.
Jill Wolgamot, first grade
She possesses a master’s degree in special reading from Lindenwood University and has served as a teaching assistant at Old Bonhomme for two years.
Spoede Elementary School
Theodore Washington, third grade
He has a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Harris-Stowe State University and a degree in education administration from the University of Missouri, St. Louis. He has served as a fifth-grade teacher at Avant Elementary School and an eighth-grade math teacher at Young Middle School in Washington Park, IL. He also taught math at Pershing Elementary School in the University City School District.
Jennifer Weber, third grade
She holds a bachelor’s degree in education from University of Missouri, St. Louis and served as a teaching assistant at Spoede for two years, most recently as a math interventionist.
Conway Elementary School
Hilary Brondel, second grade
She possesses a master’s degree in elementary education from Truman State University and served as a second-grade teacher at St. Angela Merici Catholic School and a first-grade teacher with Jefferson City Public Schools.
Audra Smith, first grade
She holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Harris-Stowe State University. She has served as a third-grade teacher in Florida and a fifth-grade teacher and team leader at Fayette County Public Schools in Kentucky. She was a math specialist at Conway last year.
Ladue Horton Watkins High School
Molly Beck, speech and debate
She possesses a bachelor’s degree in speech and theater from Missouri State University. She was a student teacher in the Parkway School District and coordinated state debate tournaments for the Missouri State High School Activities Association.
Michelle Graf, art
She has a master’s degree in art from Maryville University. She has served as an art teacher in Rockwood since 2008.
Scott Harris, band
He has a bachelor’s degree in music education from Central Missouri State University and has served as a high school band director.
Hannah Lupardus, math
She possesses a master’s in education from the University of Missouri and has served as an adjunct professor at St. Louis Community College and as a sales engineer for En Sync Group.
Cemohn Sevier, French
She holds a master’s degree in French from Middlebury College and a master's in literary translation from New Sorbonne University: Paris III. She previously substituted in the City of St. Louis and Belleville School Districts.
Jennifer Tuttle, English
She possesses a master’s degree in English from Lindenwood University and has served as an English teacher at Rockridge Community School, Taylor Ridge, Illinois and Belleville West High School.
Chris Wengert, English
He possesses a bachelor’s degree in English education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and has served as a student teacher in the Lincoln Public Schools in Nebraska.
